Jen Palmer is a naturopathic doctor with 20 years’ experience in the dietary supplement industry and integrative medicine profession.

She is passionate about sharing her knowledge about natural medicine through writing and speaking to consumers , retailers and physicians. She consults for dietary supplement companies that want to use education to drive marketing strategies. In the past, she created a one-year herbal certification CME program for physicians and authored “Berberine: Everything You Didn’t Know."

Palmer works with the full spectrum – consumers, retailers and physicians. She said it all comes down to translating the science into succinct, digestible information.

“In the supplement industry, I think we all are very aware that education really drives sales– especially now with these more sophisticated consumers. So I really like the term ‘promotional education,’ meaning you're using your education to do your marketing. So smart companies are really digging into the science behind their products and they want to elevate that. I like to translate that science into a compelling marketing message, so that their target audience can really identify with it and I really feel like this is the ticket to build consumer confidence and really have them be loyal to your brand," explained Palmer.

Palmer offers consulting services to a variety of supplement companies, from well-known to smaller brands. “They may not have the resources to hire someone like me on a full-time basis, but what I can do for them is give them the educational support and translate that science to their products and let them use that for their marketing and trainings and so this is offering a more affordable way for a smaller company to give that kind of guidance to their sales and marketing teams and support those people in achieving their goals of meeting certain sales.”
