Nouri expands into Walmart
Microbiome health company Nouri just announced the company has entered into a partnership with retail giant Walmart. The Digestive Health, Prenatal Health, Menopause Health, and StayWell Lemonade products can now be accessed at Walmart’s 4,300+ locations across the United States.
The strategic move aligns with the company's track record, given the core sales driver for Nouri is at brick and mortar stores. The expansion marks the next phase of the company’s ongoing push to improve consumer access to high-quality probiotics at an affordable price point ranging between $19.99 - $21.99 SRP.
Caroline Carralero, Nouri’s founder and CEO, told NutraIngredients-USA that the national partnership positions Nouri to serve consumers across America.
“Nouri aims to make high-quality microbiome health products accessible to every American. Partnering with Walmart—one of the largest retailers in the world—helps put Nouri on the shelves and be within a few miles of a majority of consumers across the country.”
New offering
The timing couldn’t have worked out better, with the omnichannel business recently launching its Nouri Menopause Health offering.
The menopause capsules combine precision probiotic strains Pediococcus acidilactici KABPTM-021, Lactiplantibacillus plantarum KABPTM-051 and Levilactobacillus brevis KABPTM-052 to support healthy estrogen metabolism, hormonal balance and microbiome diversity. Each Menopause Health capsule includes resveratrol and Ahiflower oil.
“Nouri Menopause Health has been our most successful and exciting new product launch to date. Menopause Health is on-shelf nationally at Walmart and will be in over 7,000 stores by the end of the year once it’s picked up by a few other retail partners,” said Carralero.
Menopause Health has garnered support and enthusiasm among industry leaders—it’s an effective and affordable product that helps women going through menopause. Nouri will be launching digital, in-store, and out of home marketing campaigns in the coming months to continue spreading the word.”
Nouri’s capsule-in-capsule microbiome health supplements and synbiotic stick pack supplements continue to gain traction. Carralero told us that the company is scaling rapidly, with Nouri products slated to be available in over 10,000 retail stores by the end of 2023. Next up, Carralero said be on the lookout for an infant product in the coming months.
