Expo West 2025 supplement preview: What’s happening on the show floor

Expo West 2025 takes place from March 4 to 7 at the Anaheim Convention Center.

Nearly 3,400 exhibitors from across the natural products spectrum are attending this year’s Expo West trade show at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA.

From the latest products and science to ingredient and delivery format innovations, here’s a sneak—but not exhaustive—peak at what some of the supplement industry players will exhibit on the show floor from March 5 to 7.

ADM, Booth 4042

ADM health and wellness experts will discuss their latest research, innovations and ingredients for foods, beverages and dietary supplements. Solutions span biotics to botanical extracts, sweetening solutions, plant proteins and naturally derived flavors and colors supporting key wellness segments, including cognitive health and the gut-brain axis, weight management and support for people engaging with anti-obesity medications (AOMs), women’s health and more.

Aker BioMarine, Booth 4157

Aker BioMarine will spotlight its growing portfolio of sustainable marine-based nutrition ingredients. It is also hosting a ‘”Women’s Health Across the Ages” reception in booth on March 5 starting at 3:30 p.m. showcasing new skin science, innovation and more.

Alkemist Labs, Booth 4318

ISO 17025 accredited contract botanical and fungi testing laboratory Alkemist Labs will be on hand to discuss its identity, analytical and contaminant testing in both ingredients and finished products. Alkemist is also attending and sponsoring the AHPA member meeting, 20th annual ABC Celebration and Botanical Excellence Awards, SCIFT Suppliers night, WIN Gender Equity Reception, AHPA reception and What’s Up With Supps Artificial Insanity Party.

Atlantia Clinical Trials, Booth 4378

With over 13 years in the industry, Atlantia is a full-service CRO with owned clinic spaces in Cork and Chicago, specializing in nutraceutical research trials. It has completed nearly 200 studies for international sponsors aiming to establish a strong presence in the U.S. and Europe.

BGG, Booth 4899

BGG will be presenting its clinically-proven AstaZine astaxanthin, TheraPrime tocotrienol hair care solution for the growing beauty-from-within market and ApplePhenon apple polyphenols.

BIO-CAT, Booth 4337

BIO-CAT is featuring its newest branded ingredient, OPTIZIOME Fructanase, a clinically tested ingredient designed to support the digestion of FODMAPS (e.g. onion, garlic, and other vegetables). The company has also just finished a second clinical trial with future claims on satiety for its proprietary blend of enzymes, OPTIZIOME P3 HYDROLYZER.

Bioenergy Life Science, Booth 4674

BLS is introducing new solutions for the on-the-go, health-conscious consumer from the company’s water-soluble NAD product NAD-TO-GO to its SweetR, a healthier alternative to traditional sugars.

Cargill, Booth 737

Cargill is showcasing solutions for dairy alternatives with elevated protein, tools to manage off-flavors from functional ingredients, plant-based creations that take taste to the next level and reduced-sugar formulations—all available in prototypes for sampling in booth. Experts will also be on hand to discuss evolving consumer trends and formulation challenges.

Cepham, Booth 3371

Cepham’s is introducing Life Phases and Stages (LPAs) blends, a new line of scientifically formulated polyherbal compositions designed to address nutritional needs at critical life milestones. Through these blends, supplement companies will be able to access pre-developed formulations targeting personalized and stage-specific supplementation, optimized for bioavailability, absorption and efficacy.

COMET, Booth 5122

COMET will be featuring the ways Arrabina prebiotic fiber can be integrated into existing and upcoming formulations to boost products with proven health benefits and strong on-pack claims across a variety of application formats.

CON-CRĒT Creatine, Booth 4200:

CON-CRĒT is showcasing its USA-made, NSF-certified Creatine HCl, highlighting new trends in sports nutrition and the growth of creatine, for both athletes and new audiences like menopausal women and those focused on brain health.

EpiCor, Booth 3375

EpiCor postbiotic, a Cargill brand, is highlighting a published study showing that a daily dose of 500 mg of EpiCor offered statistically significant immune benefits over placebo in children between the ages of 4 and 12 years. One of the few studies conducted using a gummy supplement, the company says it is among the first to evaluate the health benefits of postbiotic supplements in children.

FrieslandCampina Ingredients, Booth 4310

FrieslandCampina Ingredients is highlighting flagship ingredients, such as Biotis Fermentis and Excellion caseinates, presenting solutions spanning bars, ready-to-drink (RTD) beverages, shakes, chews and fastmelts.

Gencor Pacific, Booth 3611

Gencor is launching its new Trpti-branded Oleoylethanolamide (OEA) ingredient to support weight management and metabolic health. A fatty acid ethanolamide produced by the intestine in response to food consumption, it has been described as a signaling molecule that helps promote the breakdown of fat and stimulates the release of GLP-1 to curb food intake. The company will also discuss its newly published clinical data on Levagen+ for women’s health and highlight its exclusive ingredient distribution partnership with Gnosis for its LANDKIND Pure Salidroside, the first fermented salidroside bioactive with clinical data supporting its efficacy in sports nutrition.

Gnosis by Lesaffre, Booth 4431

Gnosis is sharing its latest science-backed ingredient innovations including B-vitamin fortified Red Star Nutritional Yeast and selenium-fortified Lynside Forte Se+ Nutritional Yeast, as well as biotics ibSium S. cerevisiae CNCM I-3856 for gut health and LifeinU B. subtilis CU1 for immune health and longevity. It will also feature active ingredients Quatrefolic (folate), MenaQ7 K2 as MK-7 to support heart and bone health and LANDKIND Pure Salidroside for energy, performance, recovery and mood. Attendees can sample popcorn sprinkled with Red Star Nutritional Yeast from the in-booth popcorn machine.

Helaina, Booth 2999

Biotechnology company Helaina will exhibits its effera ingredient, the first clinically-studied human lactoferrin equivalent for adult supplementation. The company continues to build the research on effera’s potential to enhance the health of older children and adults, investigating its effects on gut, immune and women’s health.

Kerry Group, Booth 2415

Kerry will be showcasing products and sustainable practices that reflect its commitment to making the world of food healthier and tastier. Its featured innovations include a wide range of natural flavors, its Tastesense taste optimization solutions, cold brew coffee extracts from the Simply Nature portfolio, Sensoril ashwagandha, Wellmune baker’s yeast beta-glucan postbiotic and Plenibiotic, a new rice-derived postbiotic offering digestive and skin health benefits. On site samples: a non-alcoholic blood orange Aperol Spritz, rainbow sherbet cognitive beverage, hot and cold brew coffee with fun flavored creamer, popsicle electrolyte hydration with Wellmune, Strawberry Mint Glow featuring Plenibiotic, Peach Passion Sensoril Women’s Health Gummy, Dill Pickle High Protein Extruded Snack (BC30) and Alpine cheese sauce served on potato skins.

Kyowa Hakko USA, Booth 4107

Kyowa Hakko is spotlighting its partnership with MOSH, a company co-founded by Maria Shriver and Patrick Schwarzenegger that offers protein bars formulated with Cognizin, Kyowa Hakko’s patented form of citicoline to promote focus, attention, memory and mental energy. In addition to Cognizin, Kyowa will also highlight its branded glutathione ingredient Setria that supports detoxification, as well as immune, respiratory and skin health.

Lonza Capsules & Health Ingredients (CHI), Booth 3827

Lonza CHI is unveiling its new concept-to-market services platform that connects its partners with its customers to address formulation challenges and create supplements using its advanced polymer science and capsule technologies. It will also be showcasing UC-II undenatured type II collagen for joint health support in both companion animals and humans, alongside its innovative capsule portfolio, including Capsugel Plantcaps pullulan capsules and Capsugel Vcaps Plus HPMC food-colored capsules.

Nature’s Way, Booth 3879

Nature’s Way is exhibiting several innovations this year, including Weight Manager, a daily drink mix supplement with two clinically studied ingredients, and its convenient, individually-wrapped Calm Drops lozenges with GABA. Alive! Multivitamins for men, women and adults 50+ have been newly reformulated with a Superfood Antioxidant powder blend, and Joint Movement Glucosamine is now available as an on-the-go drink mix in convenient stick packs. Attendees can also stop by the booth to get a sneak peek at a first-to-market new form.

NOW, Booth 3505

NOW will showcase all of its product categories, including its Omega-3 Fish Oil Gummy Chews (300 mg EPA / 225 mg DHA) and its reformulated Kid Vits chewable multivitamins. In addition to its booth on the main floor, the company will display its natural food solutions, including organic zero-calorie sweeteners at Booth 1622, as well as its redesigned line of tea at Booth N1006, the new NOW Sports E-Sport Reaction gaming performance powder at Booth N1004 and beauty-from-within and topical beauty solutions at Booth N1005 in the North Hall Hot Products section.

NuLiv Science USA, Booth 3347

Nuliv Science is set to highlight its key ingredients, including AstraGin InnoSlim, Senactiv and Zylaria. There will also be more emphasis on how NuLiv ingredients can be used in the growing pet health supplement market.

Nuritas, Booth 4587

Nuritas, an ingredient supplier that uses AI to identify and commercialize peptide ingredients at speed, is launching a new ingredient for sleep, PeptiSleep for formulation in gummies, capsules, tablets and gels. A recent pilot trial using smart rings that track biometrics showed that the ingredient, derived from rice bran protein, improved all stages of sleep by reducing cortisol. Fortified gummy and capsule samples will be available in booth, and attendees who report back the next day on their sleep experience can enter a raffle to win an Oura Ring.

Nutraland USA, Booth 3312

Nutraland USA will be sharing the results of two new human trials demonstrating the effectiveness of its Miricell rice germ polyamines for promoting autophagy, healthy aging, cardiometabolic health, cognitive function, as well as hair and nail improvement; and one new human trial on Somnatural phytomelatonin in promoting healthy sleep parameters. Scientific and leadership personnel will be on hand to answer any questions.

PLT Health Solutions, Booth 3515

PLT Health Solutions will debut multiple ingredients and highlight new clinical science in the immune health and cognitive performance categories. Previously launched but new to Expo West ingredients include the cellflo6 gallate-enhanced oligomer extract sourced from green tea, TestFactor Sexual Wellness & Longevity and Vanizem, a Grains of Paradise extract that supports positive mood, sleep quality and stress management. Most ingredients are also included in PLT’s growing beverage-friendly ingredient portfolio. PLT’s Experience Zone will offer visitors “experience formulations” across physical and mental energy, mood, sports and cognitive performance categories.

Radicle Science, Booth 3145

AI-driven healthtech company Radicle Science is launching Journey by Radicle Science, built on its proof-as-a-service platform. Introduced as the first health impact tracker tailored for wellness brands, the tracker will provide insights into how wellness products impact consumer health.

Rousselot, Booth 4675

Rousselot will spotlight Nextida GC, a specific collagen composition targeting post-meal blood sugar spikes in healthy individuals. Proof of concept pre-clinical and clinical studies have shown its impact on the body’s natural glucose regulation mechanism, where GLP-1 plays a key role.

Sabinsa, Booth 4239

Sabinsa will highlight its portfolio of sustainably sourced science-backed ingredients, including LivLonga, Sabroxy, CurCousin, Curcumin C3 Reduct, LactoSpore, Shagandha, PoZibio, BioPerine and DigeZyme. It will also feature its recently acquired Ayurvedic brand Nature’s Formulary at booth 4547, displaying Sabinsa’s consumer goods division, which includes America’s Finest, Inc. (AFI), Nature’s Formulary and Sanutra Wellness brands. Visitors can stop by to take a Dosha evaluation and speak with a Certified Ayurvedic Clinical Consultant to discuss their test results.

SPINS, Booth 616

Experts from market insights firm SPINS will be on hand to talk key themes shaping the industry in 2025 from the state of natural and organic to functional beverages to the role of personalization across health and wellness categories and more. There will also be live demos of the SPINS Ignite platform at SPINS’ second booth, N1803 on the North Hall Hot Products floor, which includes a free program designed for emerging brands to help them succeed in the competitive CPG market through point-of-sale data and exclusive content.

Trace, Booth 3705

Trace is introducing its ConcenTrace Daily Mineral Powder in three new flavors: Blue Raspberry, Blue Hawaiian and Blue Acai. The mineral-rich, full spectrum hydration product is an evolution of its ConcenTrace Trace Mineral Drops hero product. In addition, Trace will showcase top products like ZeroLyte, Power Pak, its ionic mineral line and its range of shilajit products. Attendees can expect a new look at the Trace booth following the company’s recent rebrand.

Virginia Dare, Booth 2044

Virginia Dare will highlight its library of more than 250 organic flavors and extracts at its Natural Products Expo West debut. The global flavor supplier also offers custom organic certified and organic compliant flavor creation and product development support. Samples of organic RTM raspberry lemonade hydragen beverage and organic RTD sparkling apple honey green tea gut health beverage will be available in booth.

Vitamin Angels, Booth 3237

Vitamin Angels will be discussing its work to create a brighter future for mothers and children around the world. Attendees stop by the booth to learn more about partnership opportunities and ways to get involved on the ground.
