Efficacy of L-92™ in adult patients with atopic dermatitis
A 6 month double-blind, placebo-controlled study on 50 subjects revealed that L-92™, a heat-killed strain of L. acidophilus, effectively improves the symptoms and quality of life of patients with Th2 dominant skin inflammation, both during the study period and after. The study suggested L-92™ activates regulatory T cells, and Th1 cells.
